Our faculty engages with the scientific community through networks in every region of the United States and in multiple other countries. Our collaborative, interdisciplinary research impacts occupational therapy practice, healthcare delivery and policy, and occupational therapy education.

Recent faculty engagement with the scientific community includes:

  • Contributions to scientific literature, with an excellent record of peer- reviewed publications.
  • Participation on editorial boards for multiple high-impact OT and interdisciplinary journals, reviewing article submissions, and editing special issues.
  • Service on key committees, workgroups, and boards of OT and interdisciplinary research organizations, such as AOTF, ACRM, and SSO-USA.
  • Grant reviews for multiple foundations, such as Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs and the American Occupational Therapy Foundation.
